Ecosteel Ltd - About Us

We are a Scottish based company specialising in steel stockholding and sourcing for the Oil & Gas, general engineering and renewable energy sectors.   We originally established ourselves as Quality Forgings Ltd in 1997 and recently changed our name in 2009 to Ecosteel, this was to provide a more distinctive identity for our business to reflect on our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint while promoting our full range of steel products into other business sectors like the renewable energy industry.

Who Are We?

Our headquaters are based off the M8 in Bathgate, between Glasgow and Edinburgh, this gives us a central location for Scottish distribution based in the middle of Scotland's Central Belt.  We also have a shared location with our sister company, Bridgeforth Engineering, in Inverkeithing just north of Edinburgh and in China our warehouse/Machine shop and office facility based in Kunshan.  You can view all the locations of the KLS Holdings Group on our locations page.

What Do We Do?

Our facilities and partnerships in Europe and China allow us to provide a wide range of finished steel products ranging from Steel Bars (Rolled Bars, Forged Bars, GFM Forged Bars, Forged Stepped Shafts, Forged Flat Bars and Forged Square Bars) to specialised Steel Forgings (Precision Rolled Seamless - Rolled Rings, Connector Rolled Rings, Shaped Rolled Rings, Flanges, Bushes, Shafts, Open Die Forgings - both Punched and Non-Punched disks, Castings and we can source bespoke forgings to specific customer requirements.)  We also offer Precision Machining through our sister company Bridgeforth Engineering.
